This year has brought some wonderful blessings to our Banebow family.
We are so excited to announce a new board member, Dana Ausbrooks! Dana is a local attorney and partner at The Ausbrooks Law Office in Franklin, TN and is also currently running for Williamson County Commissioner in District 12. She is well respected throughout the community and is dedicated to Banebow and its mission.
Our monthly grief group has been encouraged and poured into by music therapy, trauma therapists, and other professionals who have volunteered their time to be a part of our group. We’ve had several new families join the group this year. We are continually amazed at what the Lord is doing in the life of this ministry.
Just this this week God provided above and beyond on some “small” needs in our ministry. A huge thank you goes out to Francis Scruggs and “her team” for the donation of goodies and supplies. It encourages us to see the Lord working and leading people’s hearts to the families of Banebow.
“Yes, my soul, find rest in God; my hope comes from Him.” -Psalm 62:5
Thank you, Jesus for guiding us through grief that is unimaginable. When we fall deep into doubt and throw our hands in the air saying we can’t do this anymore, you pick us back up and breathe life into us. This is the hardest, most awful thing we’ve ever been through but God, You are faithful. We lean on you not to understand but to see you continue to create in us. God, please surround and wrap your arms around us as we navigate through grief and learn how to breathe again. Give us peace and respite as we hope in you. Thank you for sticking by our side and loving on us.
