While working in the Admissions Department at Rolling Hills Hospital, she first met Sonya Stokes-Beasley and became a supporter of Banebow after witnessing Sonya’s passion to help families who have experienced the unimaginable loss of a child. Little did Sara Kate know that just a few years later, this same organization would be supporting her after the devastating loss of her own son, Pearse, who passed away within minutes of his birth in 2018. Through the grieving and healing process, Sara Kate knew, like Sonya, that she also wanted to help families who have experienced the tragic loss of a child. So, in 2021 when Sonya approached her to join Banebow as a therapist, Sara Kate eagerly agreed. She and Chip currently live in Spring Hill, Tennessee with their two sons, and dog, Diesel.
