The Banebow 5k Fun Run/Walk
October 23, 2010
If you live in the Middle Tennessee area, or if you don’t, but you’ve always wanted to see the leaves change in one of the most beautiful areas in the South, grab your Converse and head on over.
You don’t have to have fancy pants running gear. You don’t have to have a long trail of race medals, or even any history with running at all.
In fact, if you want to walk the entire five kilometers holding the hand of your own toddling babe, well that would make us smile real big. All you need are some comfortable shoes and a heart for a great cause.
Because it’s more than an athletic event — it’s a celebration. Not the celebration that we had originally planned, but a celebration in the belief that what God plans is always good. And that celebrating the sweet soul of someone so loved doesn’t end when heartbeat is silenced.
You can register online
by clicking over here.
If you’d prefer to register by mail, or if you have any questions about the event, shoot us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
All proceeds from the event will go to helping Banebow
continue its mission of honoring Bane’s memory by being the hands and feet of Christ to those who are hurting.
So head on over and register today
— and tell your friends.
You can run it. You can walk it. Heck, you can hop it, if you want. Just don’t skip it.
