If you live in the Middle Tennessee area, or if you don’t, but you’ve always wanted to see the leaves change in one of the most beautiful areas in the South, grab your Converse and head on over.
You don’t have to have fancy pants running gear. You don’t have to have a long trail of race medals, or even any history with running at all.
In fact, if you want to walk the entire five kilometers holding the hand of your own toddling babe, well that would make us smile real big. All you need are some comfortable shoes and a heart for a great cause.
Because it’s more than an athletic event — it’s a celebration. Not the celebration that we had originally planned, but a celebration in the belief that what God plans is always good. And that celebrating the sweet soul of someone so loved doesn’t end when heartbeat is silenced.
